I love to capture the moment of an experience, and if I know there's too much information to keep as a memory, then a camera becomes a wonderful tool.

Also, I like exploring visual subjects in abstract forms. One interesting effect I always enjoy is to crop close in on a small image and remove any easily-recognized form. By doing this, the actual scale of the remaining image comes into question. A seemingly miniscule object can suddenly take on gigantic size. It's a fun play on the human sense of shape recognition.

There is a variety of pictures in this collection. Photos of Europe, which I scanned and then digitally altered to my liking, are among my favorites.

The smaller thumbnails link to a larger file, as some of the images are well over 100k. I hope you enjoy this handful of images.
